Our Story
It all started with a dream in 1920.
A New Chapter: Gorrell Bros is formed
In 1948, the company rebranded as Gorrell Bros., marking its evolution into a combined real estate and auction business. Under the leadership of brothers, Clifford "Cliff" A. Gorrell and Floyd B. "Chuck" Gorrell, the company expanded its services and established new headquarters in Paulding, Ohio. This merger solidified Gorrell Bros. as a trusted provider in both real estate and auctions.
Third Generation Leadership and Expansion
By the early 1980s, Gorrell Bros. continues its impressive expansion, now under the third-generation leadership of Larry D. Gorrell, son of Clifford A. Gorrell. With new offices opening in Jackson, Michigan; Hicksville, Ohio; Bryan, Ohio; and Antwerp, Ohio, Gorrell Bros. strengthened its position as a premier real estate and auction company in the region. Larry's direction and commitment to the family legacy propelled the company forward, reaching new communities and solidifying its reputation for excellence.
A New Focus on Paulding County & Beyond
In the early 2000s, Gorrell Bros. consolidated its operations under the continued leadership of Larry D. Gorrell, focusing efforts on serving Paulding County and the surrounding areas from a single, dedicated location. This shift allowed the company to deepen its roots in the local community while maintaining its commitment to quality service in both real estate and auctions.
